Organic Farming! Yes. We, the volunteers of NSS, have done a great job with vegetables too. Few months ago we planted seeds and saplings of wide varieties of vegetables and now we are harvesting its result. We planted Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Tomato etc in our small vegetable garden and irrigated it well for the last 9 months. We followed the way of organic farming, a form of agriculture that relies on techniques such as crop rotation, green manure, compost, and biological pest control, and that helped us to have a good result. Cabbages and cauliflowers were the leading ones. We harvested it in the presence of a guest and distributed those to people living around our school. It was an unforgettable experience for all, and we have planned to continue this on the coming years.
